Holladay Tours has been in operation for more than twenty years.  Tom Holladay began conducting tours in 1990 on a part time basis while still working full time as the business manager in a medical practice.

Tom grew up in Ruston, LA, graduating from Ruston High School and Louisiana Tech with a degree in business.  His father continues to reside in Ruston where he retired as a CPA in private practice. Tom has 42 years business management experience.

Sharon Holladay came into Holladay Tours full time in 1997 after 18 years in banking and 2 years in property management.  Sharon was born in North Carolina but grew up in Longview, TX where her parents returned after WWII.  

Tom and Sharon’s love for travel began at a young age when their parents would load up the car and take long summer vacations across America ( remember, this was when cars were not air conditioned!!! ).  Together,  Tom and Sharon continued to travel by car and motorhome on short trips to the gulf coast and the Ozark mountains and longer trips to Yellowstone National Park and Big Bend National Park.  It was on a trip to Colorado that Tom began to develop the idea of starting a tour company.   After much thought and prayer, they developed their first tour package to a Dallas Cowboys vs. New Orleans Saints football game.  Since that time they have continued to develop a customer mailing list and tours such as the ones you see here on this website.  

They do not have the typical 9 to 5 job, and long hours are inevitable.  It all becomes worthwhile when they are somewhere far away from home and there are smiling faces sharing new experiences in the heartland of America.   They value the close friendships they have developed through the bonding of shared travel experiences.
