Shades of Ireland Tour   

The Emerald Isle, a land renowned for its “forty shades of green”, is filled with rolling hills, warm people, stately castles and rollicking fun.  Join us on this comprehensive tour which introduces Ireland’s natural beauty, rich history and hospitable culture.  Your tour begins in Dublin where you’ll meet your fellow travelers at a fun-filled Irish evening complete with traditional entertainment.  Then, next morning you’ll enjoy a sightseeing tour of Dublin, the “ Fair City.” Next, our tour travels to Kilkenny, one of Ireland’s most colorful cities.  Later we’ll visit the Waterford Crystal facility and marvel at these exquisite treasures and how they are made. Travel to the Blarney Castle where you’ll have the opportunity to kiss the Blarney Stone.  On our way to Killarney you’ll travel along one of the most beautiful costal routes in the world, the Ring of Kerry.  At the Gap of Dunloe, shop for traditional Irish goods handcrafted by local artisans.  You’ll experience the customs of daily life at an Irish dairy farm.  In Limerick you’ll enjoy a city tour showcasing King John’s Castle and the Treaty Stone while learning about the history of the “ city of violated treaty.”  Next, travel to the stunning 700 foot high Cliffs of Moher for awe-inspiring views of the mighty Atlantic and the Aran Islands.  Travel through the vast limestone landscape of the Burren, known for its stark beauty and Neolithic tombs.  Continue past scenic countryside into Galway, for a tour of the “City of Tribes.”  Next, travel to Tullamore where you will visit the Tullamore Due Heritage Centre to learn how Irish whiskey is made and enjoy a tasting.  Top off your day with an overnight stay on the magnificent grounds of Cabra Castle, at Kingscourt.  Here, you’ll toast the end of a fabulous tour during your farewell dinner.
